I believe you am in the wrong forum.
you can load your file into each listing under httpdocs. if you it by the URL with Filename-extension call will open the appropriate program automatically.
but especially that does not have to do anything with plesk

Well i have to use plesk to do this, so it is related. I made a folder under fttpdocs, called media. I put try uploading it to the folder, when it's done it disappears... It's under my disk space limit. What's happening? And with is anon_ftp for?

anon-ftp isn't on, and cant be turn on because of shared-ip type? does this matter?

2. I didn't buy the a machine to host my own web server, most people like i rent one online, and i happen to know alot about computers, but not in this particular field.

consider with plesk the fact that you the test on plesk the server do not make. use always a server and client computers. there are permission problems (w2003server) if you make the tests on the localhost implements
there is not all English speaking and writing people in this forum
