Horde and Nginx 504 Error

hi,

Normally all is ok but today I cant login to Horde. I get a 504 Gateway timeout error and in the nginx log I see -

upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client XXXX request: "POST /imp/redirect.php HTTP/1.1", ", referrer: "http://webmail.XXXXX.com/imp/login.php"

Tried restarting Nginx and Apache but no joy.

Normal websites are being served ok and server is not under huge load.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Plesk is all up to date with the latest fixes.

Restarting Courier-IMAP service sprung it back to life, not sure why :/
