horde don't mark mail as read

We are using Horde Plesk Windows version 8.1.1 system with MailEnable Standard version. When a customer receives a new (unread) email to his mailbox, it's never seen as BOLD in the inbox. So, currently there is no way for a customer to differenciate a read or unread email. Do anyone else had this issue or any idea how to fix this.
