  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hosting for this domain is not configured..

... when it is, in fact, quite configured.

DNS is correct. DNS to the outside world matches.

http://aldren.charactersheets.org/ = Domain Not Configured

Domain is setup on the correct IP in PLESK. Does the same when setup as a domain or subdomain. What the hell causes PLESK to F this up?

Anyone?

This is now happening for all pre-existing subdomains on the server.

http://files.garrettw.net is not working either. What causes this?

It is NOT a DNS problem. This is a mapping problem due to plesk and I really need to know how to fix it.

Hi,

aldren.charactersheets.org does not resolve for me: looks to be some problem on DNS server:

C:\Documents and Settings\Администратор>nslookup aldren.charactersheets.org
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.1.1: Non-existent domain
*** Default servers are not available
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.1

DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
*** UnKnown can't find aldren.charactersheets.org: Server failed

http://files.garrettw.net/ works fine.

In any case: if you have correctly set DNS and domain resolves properly and you have set physical hosting for this domain in Plesk and such error appears you can try resetting apache configuration according to Plesk records using the following command:
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/websrmng -v -a

this will reset all domains apache configuration and restart web server.

Also if you have NAT then in DNS setting domain should have A record poiting to external IP and in domain hosting setup if should be mapped to internal IP.
