how can upgrade mysql to new version ?

Question: why we have more than one SQL-Serverversions in Plesk 11.5

One is in %plesk_dir%\databases\MySQL51 which is 5.1.68
Databases saved in %plesk_dir%\databases\MySQL and as I know, Clients will have the 5.1 version
One Version of MySQL is in %plesk_dir%\MySQL, which is 5.5.31

So is that right, that we should update the 5.1 Version in databases? does anyone try to install mysql 5.6? And where I will find a newer mysql-essentials Version for plesk? is there a Special Version for plesk?
