How do I activate web statistics?

I am not very technically inclined. How can I turn on web statistics for my website in Plesk so I can see how many hits, where from etc. All the basic statistical stuff?

Setup the task to run in windows tasks.

I dont have access to my server, but basically you setup a task to run, and provide a full long *** path. Though this task should have been setup automatically for you. Go into control panel and tasks and look for a task that calls statistcs.exe. That is what your looking for.

Hello,

1. You shall enable statistics on the domain:

2. Make sure scheduled task exits:
http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/Plesk7.6/Windows/Docs/plesk-7.6-win-admins-guide/19995.htm

3. If after running scheduled task you still see placeholder please check the article below:

check everything described in the article and also check that OfflineLockStatus is equal to 0. If you see any other number than 0, it means that it is locked with process with that PID. Check if such process exists. If not change it manually to 0 and wait till next statistics calculation task (in Parallels Plesk 7.6 it was not possible to calculate statistics manully, this option is availbale from Plesk 8.2).

i tried to add it as a task , but i get the following error
