Question How do I connect to the Plesk server (Linux)?

ferguson1951

New Pleskian
Hello.
I am trying to connect to the server in order to retrieve password afterwards, but I am new to Plesk.
The instruction say that I have to run this command: # ssh username@server.
Can anyone give me an example? because I don't know what I have to input as 'username' and 'server'.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks a lot and best regards

Hello,

If you are not using an unix based operating system on your computer, you can use a software like putty to access to your server via ssh.
You have to replace 'server' by your server IP or hostname. But I can't help you for the username because you should have received informations like username/password from your hosting provider.
