  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

How can i contact Parallels by email without having to pay for a support plan/ticket? I find this extremely annoying!

That was no answer

There is no valid contact email at that URL. What is with this company? Are they actively trying to piss off any potential customers that may need to contact them?

I am trying to contact them to tell them that I can't buy their product from their online store due to an error on the website, and I'll be hanged if I am going to make a toll call to tell them that.

Error:

We are unable to perform the selected action. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Error Number: SIT_000002

F it. I'll use Crossover and bootcamp.

Do not understand how Crossover and bootcamp related to Plesk?

If you need professional support - you should pay for support.
If you need free support - you can write on Parallels forum and wait that someone will help you or won't help. Because forum is not support helpdesk but just place for discussions.

Crossover and Bootcamp are related to Parallels in that they are direct competitors. One comes free with OS/X, and the other is sold via a web site that actually works.

If you had read my message at all you would have noted that I CANT pay for support because I don't own the product yet, because the people they have selling it for them can't seem to figure out how to sell the product to someone who wants to buy it.

I was trying to tell them that DR is apparently incapable of processing a simple sales transaction.

I gave up because it is absolutely clear that they do not want to hear anything from anyone who hasn't already paid for the product, even when their reseller is the one making that impossible.

If they don't care that DR is costing them revenue, why should I?
