Question How do I do a custom install of plesk with mysql version 5.5?

Plesk version and microupdate number

This will be on a fresh OS Alma Linux 8/9 or any other OS that I can get mysql 5.5 to work. Is this possible with the docker?

Plesk supports MySQL 5.7 and later. It will not work with MySQL 5.5.

Not supported but maybe you can find a docker with the version you need, but must think if the risk of installing unsupported and outdated software to your system is worth it

You need to install MySQL 5.7 as the only database server on the system. Afterwards install Plesk. It will use the existing database server.
