• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I enable PHP handling on Custom Error Pages

Hi,

I already enabled PHP for my site and the PHP is working for the site. My question deals with custom error pages, which Plesk, by default, stores in the error_docs folder. I added PHP code to that file, but the system ignores all PHP code in the file. Even if I change the extension to PHP and go into IIS and change the file to a PHP one, PHP code still gets ignored. How do I get custom error pages, in this case for the 404 error, to work?

I know that it is possible, when my site was hosted previously, also on a Windows server, there were no issues with PHP custom error pages.

Thanks in advance,

Sarah
