Question How do I find out what version of Plesk my hosting service is running?

I am wondering whether my backup problem is due to an automatic Plesk update. How do I find out what version my hosting service is running?

If I understand you correctly you don't have access to Plesk by yourself. Maybe you can find the panel login page, then you can see the version in the browser title or the exact version in the meta tags in the sourcecode.

Thankyou only I do have access to the panel.
My question is, where in the panel do i find what version of Plesk is running?

Depending on the view it'll either be on the front page or go to Tools & Settings > About Plesk

Ok, so you don't have admin level access. Only way is to look at the title in the tab since the tab will tell you the version at the end of it (it won't be the full version).

Do you mean the browser tab? I cant see a version mentioned there?

Then look into the sourcecode of any page, as I already suggested. I have the version there even on the login page, where I don't have admin rights, of course (because I'm not logged in).

Rather than trying to figure out what Plesk version your hosting providers runs, it's likely better to contact them about any issue you have so they can help you. As you do not have any administrator access to the server there is no way for you to control to upgrade/adjust the schema any way. It's probably also much easier for them to tell which Plesk version the runs, than it is for you (as an end-user) to figure out.

I cant get to https://mydomain:8443 because it immediately redirects to https://mydomain:8443/smb/web/view
My hosting support says nothing has changed recently other than maybe an automatic update. (He did not say whether this had occurred) My real issue is to do with the FTPS backup which I logged as an issue at Issue - Backup error message gives curl command that will fail
I am trying to establish whether the problem is in Plesk or in Azure.
