  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How do I limit / choose PHP version in Parallels Plesk Panel for Linux?

I noticed my PHP version updated in my Parallels Plesk Panel v. 11.09 updated without my knowledge. Right now it's fine at PHP 5.3.3, however I'm running a script that has problems in PHP 5.4 and want to make sure my Parallels Plesk Panel doesn't update to PHP 5.4 without my consent.

Either...
1) How do I make sure my dedicated server doesn't update to PHP 5.4 without my knowledge or...
2) How do I choose which PHP version I use on my dedicated Linux server?

Thanks in advance.

Tools & Settings>Update and Upgrade Settings and make sure that you have enabled option "Notify me about available updates but do not automatically install them"
Also make sure that updates on OS level will not be installed automatically by OS package manager.

Thank you. Been sweating this for a while. I might be able to sleep at night now. :)

Where are the settings for the OS Level / OS package manager?
