  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Question How do I point a domain to my plesk 12

Cristian Ramirez

New Pleskian
I need to point my domain to my plesk server.

By default Plesk create`s all the DNS registers, however when I point my domain to my ds register it can found them. The panel its making me add an ip address and Im putting the ip address of my Server

Any idea why this is happening?

On registrar side you have specified nameservers for your registered domains. Domain should be DELEGATED to these nameservers.
On Plesk side you need to specify them as NS records.
Or you can specify Plesk nameserver on registrar side for your domains, i.e. delegate domains to these nameservers.
When nameservers will be the same on registrar side and in NS records on Plesk for your domains, other domain DNS records, including A record, will be synchronized to your nameservers and domain will be resolvable.
