• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I remove the mail icon located under services in the control panel?

We currently have a Plesk Panels 8.6 Linux installation that is not utilizing the Mail services offered in anyway as we're hosting the mail services external to Plesk.

Therefore to avoid user confusion, I want to remove the control panel Mail (located under the Services section on the Domain settings page) icon, so there is no reference seen by the end user and also add a custom button that provides an external link to our external mail control panel. I would've thought to hide this icon was something that would be customizable via Interface Management/Interface templates Preferences but it appears not.

Does anyone have a how to on how to remove this icon from being shown?
