• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I turn off Spam Assassin?

I've just upgraded MailEnable to the Prof Edition, and now I don't really need Spam Assassin, especially since the perl.exe service is taking a good chunk of memory out of the server.

What I'm looking to do is turn off Spam Assassin, but I don't see a way to do this within Plesk 8.1 for Windows. Any advice?

Thanks.

Just disable the service from the service manager (either desktop or in PSA).

There is no service, nor component listed in Pleask for Spam Assassin. Is there supposed to be?

If its installed, in Plesk under Server > Mail > Spam Filtering tab, uncheck both the "Use Server-wide" and "Allow Personal settings" options.
