• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Question How do we provide webmail under the servers hostname

kenneth-vkd

Basic Pleskian
Hi
We have deployed a single Plesk Onyx for Windows installation on a Window Server 2016 VM.

As SSL becomes more and more requested by our customers, we want to provide a secure login for customer webmail. We are using the default installation of MailEnable that comes with Plesk and we are also using the MailEnable webmail.

How can I configure the system to serve webmail over SSL/TLS from the servers hostname (without redirecting to insecure site)? Can this be done from the Plesk web GUI or command line or would I have to do this directly in Microsoft IIS?

If the hostname is associated with one of the domain hosted on your server it can be done easily. You will have to set the host header in IIS accordingly pointing the hostname to your server IP and document root to Mail enable login interface.
