Resolved How do you enable MySQLi in Plesk Panel 11.0

Hello,
I have a need for MySQLi database drivers on some of my client sites. I have a lot of Joomla customers and some of the extensions require MySQLi. Is there a way to enable it within Plesk, or is it ok to just install it from the server shell?

Just installing from shell should be fine.

Hello,

You can install it through SSH using the following command

yum install php-mysql

Then you should make sure that PHP configuration files like php.ini contain the following line:

extension=mysqli.so
