• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to assign an IP to a subdomain with shared directory

Plesk 10.4.4

Hi, I need to have a domain and subdomain pointing to the same home directory but on different IP addresses, I can't create the subdomain under the subscription for the domain as plesk won't allow me to assign additional addresses as far as I can determine.

If I create a new subscription for the subdomain even if I symlink the directory you have suexec preventing access due to the different username, I can't just edit the conf file for the site and set it immutable as plesk creates new conf files each time they are rebuilt.

Can anybody please advise the best method to achieve this?
