How to Backup Subdomains

Heya guys :)!

I have a problem or better said a question with Plesk 8.1.1.

Though i have set up two subdomains:
- bf2.free-gfx.com
- bf2142.free-gfx.com
i can't see in the control panel of Plesk a button to backup my subdomains :(.

If i open Domains > Domain free-gfx.com i see the button "Backup". And it seems to work, because clicking it i go straight to Domains > free-gfx.com > Backup-Manager >
and then i can start the backup process for free-gfx.com.

But how can i backup the two subdomains?

Those two sites are non-commercial and just a free-time private Fan project for gaming, but they got huge :( and a "possible" restore via my internet-line would be a pain.

bf2.free-gfx.com: > 2 GB / > 11.500 files / > 460 directories

bf2142.free-gfx.com: > 7.8 GB / > 17.000 files / > 600 directories

Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

See ya and take care,

BC

You need to create the subdomains at domain level to be able to seperate the backup from your main domain.

Hi Whistler :),

Thank you for your reply :)!! Hmm, "...create subdomains at domain level..." - what does this practically mean?

I have set up via Plesk some subdomains like described above^^.

Now i tried and tried and tried, but nothing works :(.
I made a backup of the domain, but only the domain itself is backed up.

Then i thought to backup the whole client (user, to whom the domains belong to) - also failed - no subdomains.

I am at a loss with Plesk :( :(
