• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I am looking into moving our dedicated web server to another provider since they are unwilling to be helpful anytime i call them. How can i backup all our domains, databases, files etc and restore to a new web server easily?

Thank you,

Bill

something wrong when backing up

Hi,

Thanks for the link. I followed the instructions:
Start Plesk Backup utility (Start > All Programs > SWsoft > Plesk > Plesk Backup)

But i just get an hour glass for a second and then nothing. The program never starts.

Thanks,

Bill

Am i doing something wrong? I go into remote desktop and run plesk backup, get an hour glass and nothing. How do i run this? And will it backup everything for all domains including databases and users?

Thanks,

Please address SWsoft support.

no support

There is no support. I lease a sever with godaddy and they are terrible. Worthless actually. There is no support from them. They only take your payment. That is why i am here for answers.

Thank you,

Gibs
