Question How to change the plesk auto-generated server host public home page?

Alma Linux 9

Plesk version and microupdate number

18.0.74

We have a server host on hostname.org
We log in to Plesk on hostname.org:8443
We have a Host set up with a domain account for the hostname domain.

The host set up is this:



The file manager set up is this:



This above file index.html has been customised and changed.

But the output of public hostname.org remains this :



Which has nothing to do with the above settings.

We've looked around the net and looked around the Tools & Settings and can't see how to change the Hostname's domain name details. Please tell me how we can do this?

Try to access https://hostname.org:8443/admin/server/tools?modals[customize-panel-access]=true and set
No custom URLs. Only https://<server-IP-or-hostname>:8443

This is already in place, as I say the issue is the hostname public domain URL is auto generated rather than using the file(s) set in the httpdocs of that account.

Yes, the file under the /httpdocs/index.html is not the same file presented on the hostname.org browser visit. Cheers

This is not a caching issue on the remote end. The same incorrect page appears on all browsers on all GEO-IP-locations .

Thank you for the confirmation. Could you please check if any errors related to the domain are logged in /var/log/httpd/error_log? Also if you don't mind could you please provide me with the domain and the content of the index.html in a private message?

Oooooh I found it, because originally I was editing the original placeholder file to see differences in its contents I had missed there was a reference to a JS link which was doing the redirecting:

<head>
...
<script src="https://assets.plesk.com/static/default-website-content/public/default-website-index.js"></script>
</head>

I saw this script while copy/pasting the text to a DM to you. !
