• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Question how to compile uploadprogress extension to all php

yusuf

New Pleskian
i installed uploadprogress on plesk onyx 17.5 but only found for php 5.4
how can i compile uploadprogress extension to all php versions installed ?

Hi yusuf,

Pls. note, that there is no serverwide option, to install additional PHP modules to your desired PHP version. Each PHP version needs a depending PHP module integration.

Here is a SEARCH link for the powerfull forum search, which helps you to find previous posts at the forum, associated with the "pecl install" command:

=> Search Results for Query: "pecl" "install" | Plesk Forum

( Here is another example link, which should point you to another SEARCH with an additional keyword => Plesk Forum SEARCH example )

Pls. be aware, that there are still PHP extensions, for which you can't use "pecl", as the desired package could be outdated, or/and not maintained anymore. A corresponding search at => PECL :: Package Search could help you to find the desired package(s) and you are able to inform yourself about the desired package.

If you desire full example commands for a specific PHP version, pls. consider to add your operating system and the corresponding PHP version. Nethertheless, here are some hints, where the corresponding "pecl" ( or "pear" ) executables are located:

serverwide PHP versions:
Code:
/usr/bin/
         pear
         pecl

Plesk PHP versions:

Code:
/opt/plesk/php/5.2/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/5.3/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/5.5/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/7.0/bin/
/opt/plesk/php/7.1/bin/
                       pear
                       pecl

FULL path example:
/opt/plesk/php/5.2/bin/pecl
