How to correctly set up e-mail (especially SMTP) in Plesk 11 (Windows) to use SSL?

I have a Strato Virtual Server and installed Plesk 11.
E-Mail configuration was easy. However if I follow the instructions at http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...inistrator-guide/index.htm?fileName=65691.htm to configure my Mac's mail program, I get a warning dialog that SSL on the SMTP does not work and if I want to continue without SSL.
If I do so, all is working, however I really would like to use SSL. Can somebody give detailed instructions what steps to perform to get it working?
