• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Is there a way to create one ftp account user that can access at vhost root directory (C:\Inetpub\vhosts) ?

I tried this:
1)
added manually a new user on the server,

2)
associated the new user in the groups:
"Administrators" - "MSFTP__xxxx" - "psacln" (what is this group?)

3)
Set the home directory of the user in: "C:\inetpub\vhosts\"

Trying to access using an ftp client, i received the following error:

Risposta: 530 User ftpadmin cannot log in, home directory unaccessible.

Somebody could help me to solve my issue ?

Thanks

I think you may need to add the user to NTFS permissions on the folder, and may have to propogate down the tree.

We use FTP with AD integration in a few other servers and we run
iisftp.vbs /SetADProp <username> FTPRoot <vhost root>
iisftp.vbs /SetADProp <username> FTPDir \<username>

And then set permissions on the folder and it works - now the /GetADProp & /SetADProp wont work for you becuase your not using AD user account isolation, but hopefully it helps some what :)
