How to Deploy Web API to Plesk?

I'm very new with Plesk and my client is running Plesk Windows 12.5 on a dedicated GoDaddy Windows Server 2012 R2. We want the API to be deployed to the existing domain name in a subdirectory API. Prior to web deploying via Visual Studio 2015, what configuration changes are needed in Plesk to ensure that this works without error and doesn't cause interruption of the web application already running on that domain?
