Question How to fix can’t login to IMAP server through Outlook?

I have been using my Microsoft outlook account from many years with no technical problems. In the recent times, my MS outlook began asking for my IMAP server password, When in Microsoft outlook. I have entered my login password rightly many times, but asked me to type the password again and again. It has created outlook email login problems. I have become frustrated and removed my account. Now, I go for setting up my account again. Now, MS outlook will permit me to sign into to the SMTP server but won’t permit me to sign into IMAP server. I can send email from this my account, but not receive emails. So I think that it is the problems of login credentials. Can anyone help me for solving can’t login to IMAP server through MS outlook?
