  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question How to Hide the Server IP in Sendmail?

Hello,

Is there an easy method to hide the server X-SOURCE-IP in sendmail or change it to the domain?

I want to secure my server further by hiding the server IP from the public.

This is not possible to do, because on the receiving end in the mail hop log that is inserted into the header of each received mail there is always a line like "Received from ... (ip address) by (local server)" etc. So even if you were able to remove any headers mentioning your IP address, the first hop between your server and the recipient will insert the IP address into the header.

So basically, set up an independent server and send all server and Sendmail emails through it.
