How to obtain settings for mailclients (Plesk 10.1.1, Suse, postfix)

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I am running a 1und1/1&1 rootserver
- Version: 10.1.1_build1010110120.18
- os_SuSE 11.0

mailserver was changed from qmail to postfix (provider suggestion because of security problems with qmail)

In the control-panel for admin-ing the mail-accounts there is a link showing some kind of client settings.
Sadly there is only the information to use the domain-name as mailserver and the information that pop/smtp/imap is supported.

I would like to extract from the server settings (somehow) wich ports are to be used (i.e. 110 and 582) what kind of security and passwortsettings will work (plain, encrypted pwd, ssl, tls, startls, etc..)

Is there either a config-file or any software to just checkout the correct settings and list 'em all in one set?

Thanks in advance

Michael

All Postfix settings you can find in /etc/postfix/ directory. Use Postfix documentation for tuning these settings.
