• The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions.
Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

How to release SMTP and POP Ports

I recently purchased Plesk 2.5.2 for Windows, I am pleased with my purchase and have found that it does what it says 'on the box'.

My problem is that I would like to install a separate email server on the same Windows machine that Plesk is installed on and run this instead of the mail server that comes with Plesk.
I have switched off the Plesk Mail server in the Plesk Control Panel but Plesk appears to want to keep hold of posts 25 and 110 preventing the new mail server accessing these ports.

Is there a way that I can release these ports for use by another email server whilst keeping the WWW server functionality in Plesk?

Any advice / instruction would be appreciated.
