• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

How do i remove the "remote desktop" icon so my clients won't be able to use it?

Thanks

Use `Interface management` feature. It's available since Plesk 7.5.5 release.

Plesk > Server > Interface management button.

Check "Show Interface management toolbar", apply, and goto domain/account where you want to disable Remote Desktop. There, you can choose whether this option should be visible or not to user.

I must be missing something. Where in the client/domain config do I disable remote desktop?
I've got Edit, Report, Preferences, Limits, Permissions, IP Pook, IIS Application Pool, Skeleton, Logo Setup, Custom Buttons, Add New Domain, Domain Templates, and Traffic as options. None of them appear to have any Remote Desktop options when I drill down.

Thanks!
Blair
