Question How To Renew Let's Encrypt SSL On Sites Without Plesk Panel Access (SSH)

SalamBegum

New Pleskian
Greetings, i own a vps and where i like to to use (also using) plesk.

But due to my business model/income out if, it's very hard for me to keep up with monthly pricing of plesk license.

so, what i like to do is, use license only for those months when i need some technical updates to the server like add/edit/delete a new domain/database etc.. which i think will have every few month.

But the only issue i am facing is, the ssl issue, because the free lets encrypt ssl is required to renew every 3 month, which forcing me to get a license every 3 month.

so, what i am requesting and wondering is there any way, i can renew the ssl without plesk control panel? directly/manually using ssh access to server? please?

please guide me

thanks in advance

best regards

Hello, @SalamBegum . You should be able to install SSL certificates with the the Certbot ACME client. More details:
It would probably be more effective to ask this question directly on the Let's Encrypt community since it's related to their service rather than Plesk itself.
thanks a lot for your reply.

but the issue is, once i have tried.. certbot it didn't find any domain nor any ssl certificates. later research (google) found that plesk use different folder structure to store domains and ssl certificates.

can you please guide me or link me to any source that can show me to use cert bot along with plesk domain? please?

thanks in advance..

best regards
