• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to setup secondary DNS server in Plesk

Hello

We have 4 Debian Servers, all of them are running Plesk8.

Everyone of thoose servers is the primary DNS Server for the Domains running on this server. (managed by Plesk)
Currently, I'am creating the secondary DNS zone on a windows DNS server, by transfering from the master server, as soon as I created a new hosting domain. That works fine so far.

What can I do to avoid administrative overhead. How do I configure one of our other Plesk8 server to automatically generate the secondary zone. Can I do everything in Plesk or do I have to use 3th party scripts?

Any help is appreciated!
