How to update MySQL/PHP?

Windows 2003 and Plesk
Plesk for Windows 7.5.3

Atm. PHP 4.x and MySQL 4.1.7-nt is running.

I downloaded MySQL 4.1.14 (got remote access to the windows server) and installed it into:

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\MySQL

So all the binaries got replaced and I restarted the Server.

However, PHPAdmin tells me that its still MySQL 4.1.7-nt and not 4.1.14.

How to update it properly and how to update php4 to php5?

Thanks for every kind of input!

Support of PHP5 will be included into Plesk 7.5.6. This version will be released approximately in 2,5-3 months. But early versions doesn't support PHP5.
You can update Mysql, but it will be difficult .
