howto cancel backup process?

Hi,

we do every night a cron backup with plesk.
Last night there was a problem with the ftp-server and the backupproccess is now still running. I can't do anything in plesk due to the domain is locked but i need to cancel it since the backup-ftp seems to still have problems.

How can i cancle the backup process?
If i kill the process does plesk recongnizes that and unlock the domain again?

ok i killed the processes by hand,
plesk unlocked the domain,
everything works again.
