• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

httpd.include missing after backup

SherlockH

Basic Pleskian
The httpd.include config file of a specific domain is missing sporadically (about every second time) after nightly backup has finished. It can only be restored by using the /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -a command.

Can anyone confirm this behavior. Are there any solutions?

Thanks in advance...

Very strange issue. I think that only deep investigation of backup logs can help.

Unfortunately we can't find any hint for something going wrong. The log entries for the specific domain do exactly look like the other lines. No error.

Only if we use multiple backup processes, a python error appears:

File "/usr/lib/python2.5/subprocess.py", line 1149, in _execute_child
raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

But it appears for multiple domains and seems to be independent from the missing httpd.include file.

Are there any further debugging possibilities?
