  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Ignoring file 'plesk.list.ai_back' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list' as it has an invalid filename extension ... !?

Regular Pleskian
Hi there

Why i get that message after entering the command 'apt purge --autoremove && sleep 1 && apt clean && sleep 1 && apt update' ?

Unbenannt-e.png

Thank you for your feedbacks.

It is because the correct name which will not be ignored is plesk.list instead of plesk.list.ai_back

Thank you very much for your fast feedback! :)

So not a bug, more a feature than a bug? ;-)

(So it can be ignored without any problems...?)

This is not an error but only a warning. So, you can ignore this.

It seams after every plesk update the file plesk.list.ai_back is created in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory resulting in warning while apt update.

Is there a fix for this problem? I know this is just a warning but I want to get rid of this warning!

Today i had an update - but just a small one (Plesk 18.x.y Update z) but there is no file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plesk.list.ai_back anymore...

I think that issue is really really simple to fix ("Hello World" so to say) for the plesk developers - isn't it? ;-)

@IgorG thanks,
I did the following:

Added a # in the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plesk-ext-site-import.list because it contained PMM_.

Bash:
grep -r "PMM_" /etc/apt/sources.list*
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/plesk-ext-site-import.list:#deb [arch=amd64] http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PMM_0.1.11 focal all

Apt updates working without any issues so far.
Let's see what happens after the next plesk update.
