Issue Impossible to edit .htaccess and index.php

Hello,
I have a wordpress website and the file index.php has been hacked: the problem is that this file and .htaccess file are not editable in any way.
Permission is set only on reading and it's impossible to change it. Also it's not possibile to edit and to delete.
Even with a backup, the file are not changed.
Any possible solution?

Do you have SSH access to your server?
