  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Incoming and Outgoing servers not shown correct. or I do smth wrong?

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I have a question which is asked me by a customer, yesterday.
Under the Mail tab, at the end of the line where the e-mail adress is written, there are two little buttons. One opens webmail on a new browser window, the other shows how to configure the mail account on mail client programs like Outlook (email configration helper).

My question is,
When I click on that email configration helper, it shows me "the domain name" as outgoing and incoming mail servers. But, we have to put "mail." at the beginning of it, to make it work. For example; domain.com is our domain name and we have an [email protected] email account. In order to make it work on Outlook, we have to configure its incoming and outgoing mail servers like "mail.domain.com". But, this is not what's written in there. :(

Is there a way to make it show the correct servers?

Would appraciate an answer, as my customer is waiting from me one, too...

Thanks in advance!
