Issue Install on Windows 2016

Hi,

I try to install Plesk on my new VServer but the installation always fails with

Installing Plesk WebSite...
MSI: Error! Critical action 'Configure Plesk site...' failed:
Command "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\\admin\bin64\websrvmng.exe" --configure-plesk-website failed with code 1. Output: at execute "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\admin\bin64\websrvmng.exe" --configure-plesk-website(vconsoleapp::run line 139)
Stderr:

at (CmdSystemAction::Commit line 425)
at Execute action Configure Plesk site...(executeList line 271)
Failed to install 'C:\ParallelsInstaller\parallels\PANEL-WIN_17.5.3\dist-msi-Microsoft-2003-i386\plesk-site.msi': Schwerwiegender Fehler bei der Installation. (Error code 1603)
Error: The installation of the package 'plesk-site' failed with code 1603. (install: Installing Plesk WebSite...)
Not all packages were installed.
Please contact product technical support.

Somewhere above there is an error with "keyset doesnt exist", I read something about deleting RSA keys but this doesnt help me ...

Got this from Strato Support.
It worked for me.


You have to run the command afterwards in Powershell or CMD:

%windir%\system32\inetsrv\iissetup.exe /install SharedLibraries
