Installing coldfusion. need advice

Hi,
I have a window 2003 server with plesk 7.5.5 and over 170 live sites.
Now I need to install coldfusion on the server.
Do I need to do anything before installing the program??

After the installation does the sites already created detect the coldfusion on the server?/

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

You can install coldfusion without any problems. Plesk will detect coldfusion automatically and you will be able to use it with all sites.

you can use cfm 7.0. also 6.1 is not working with server 2003 service pack 1. but you have to know, 7.0 is using cpu and ram so much. I have got 2 dual xeon 3.2 64 bit extreme cpus and 2 gb ddr2 ram but some thimes, users are trying to oper their web sites but they are not working. be careful.
