• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Installing new skins...

Hi,

I would like to install a new skin on a fresh Plesk 8.1 for Windows, but it fails, Event Log show a message from skinmng.exe stating :

File H:\Plesk\tmp\php2F8.tmp has unsupported type or does not a skin file

To be sure that the fault does not come from my own skin file, i've deleted the provided aqua skin then tryed to upload the standard plesk file provided by swsoft : aqua.tar, with the same result. I've also tryed with a .zip and a .tar file, same message...

How did plesk uncompress the uploaded skins, is any uncompressing program needed on the system ? did i need to install those programs manually ?
