• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Installing Nginx

Tokaren

New Pleskian
Hello,
we have been using Plesk for a long time now and now we finally want to use HTTP/2. To do this, nginx would have to run as a reserve proxy. So far so good, my question now, is it enough to simply install nginx under Updates and Upgrades or do I have to pay attention to something else? I didn't find any information about it.

Thanks

The start and stop operations for the Reverse Proxy Server (Nginx) listed above do not just start and stop the Nginx service. They also switch the web server configuration for all the domains in Plesk (Nginx and Apache combination or just an Apache web server).

How to enable Nginx reverse proxy in Plesk

Basically, install and enable. It's pretty simple.
