Installing on osx server 10.4

I am trying to install plesk 8 on a OS X 10.4 server, however when It installs mysql it comes up with this:

Trying to start MySQL server... Plesk: MySQL has been started
done

ERROR while trying to start MySQL server

Aborting...

And that is it.
Is their a fix for this?
