  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

IP address redirecting to hostname+plesk port

Hi all,

I've searched all over for this and can't find the solution. I have my server configured with 1 dedicated IP which hosts a default site.

Attempts to access the site via the IP address however, redirects the browser to the hostname as configured under System settings, plus the plesk port :8443:

myhost.domainname.com:8443

Where do I change this behavior so that I can access my site via IP address?

Thanks in advance!

Small update, if I do not have a default site selected under the IP address settings, the default servers "Web Server's Default Page" is shown, without redirecting.

Fixed. Issue with a redirection script and the old domain. DOH!
