Is it safe to delete everything in /var/lib/psa/dumps ?

New Pleskian
Hi Everyone,

I've recently been trying to get Plesk FTP backup working but it always insists on storing large backup files (where I choose to backup config + content) on the same server even though personal FTP is selected. But that's another question.

So after plesk doing this and taking up all the space on my server as well as littering large backup chunk files all over the place in /var/lib/psa/dumps I just want to clear it all out to make sure I'm not wasting space (I got the largest offenders via SSH) but want to make sure it's OK to delete everything in there?

Can anyone offer advice on this?

Richard

You can delete all under /var/lib/psa/dumps if you don't need your dumps anymore, but you shouldn't delete directory itself.
Also, don't forget to delete hidden directories under /var/lib/psa/dumps, /var/lib/psa/dumps/.discovered for example.
