• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Issue Joomla Toolkit - rebuild cache - error.

ThiloS

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.56
By rebuilding the cache for all joomla-instances (right button at the top: - "search for updates") - i get the message:

Die Aufgabe "ext-joomla-toolkit-task\recacheall" ist fehlgeschlagen.
  • Joomla!: COM_INSTALLER_MSG_UPDATESITES_REBUILD_NOT_PERMITTED

Joomla Toolkit: 2.5.14-1502
Plex: 18.0.56

One possible cause: The website user's permissions have been changed and it no longer has "Super Users" privileges.
Solution: Restore Super Users permissions to the user:
  1. Log in to Joomla! using an administrator account
  2. Go to Settings > Users
  3. Edit the user that was used to setup the website
  4. Go to Assigned User Groups
  5. Add the user to the Super Users group

I tried too, refresh every joomla site separately.

All the sites with version J 4.4.0 returned the same error.
Joomla!: COM_INSTALLER_MSG_UPDATESITES_REBUILD_NOT_PERMITTED

the older or newer ones refreshed without problem. (3.10.12, 4.1.5 and 5.0.0).
Also, the "Broken Instance" Joomla 5 rebuilt without any problem.
