Resolved Juggernaut Security and Firewall Plesk Addon

I'm relatively new to Plesk and very new to IP whitelisting/blacklisting. I have currently set up an .htaccess password for our site, but ideally we only want to whitelist certain IPs in the future, meaning they'll have to get our permission to be added. Am I correct in assuming this product will allow us to do that?

You don't need Juggernaut Firewall if you just want to restrict access to your site by IP address. You can use .htaccess to restrict access from certain IP addresses only.

.htaccess Examples:

For Apache 2.4
Code:
<RequireAll>
Require all denied
Require ip 123.123.123.123
Require ip 123.123.123.123
Require ip 123.123.123.123
</RequireAll>

For Apache older than 2.4
Code:
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from 123.123.123.123

I hope this helps!

Juggernaut Security and Firewall 2.05 has been released and is now available in the Plesk extension directory. A special thanks goes out to the Plesk certification team for all their hard work!
