kernel update on suse 10.2x64

Hi,

Is it save to update a kernel via yast on a suse 10.2x64 with plesk 8.2.1, 8.3 or 8.6 ?
default kernel is 2.6.18.2-34 and in the vendors repo update is 2.6.18.8-0.13
