• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

language packs in 8.1 ?

Hi !

What happens to installed language packs under 8.0 when upgrading to 8.1. We have over 10 languages installed, and these seem not to be available in 8.1 -->
http://www.swsoft.com/en/download/lp/

Does it mean they completely disappear when upgrading ... or is it that the old ones still work but certain terms get replaced by English default in case they were not present in the 8.0 language packs??

Add-on question:
What about the two languages (German, Japanese) listed in the auto-upgrader script? Why are they there but not "Spanish"?

Same problem for me with french!

On one host, it kept the old language pack FR... But on a new one with 8.1 directly installed, no more french and the old language pack for 8.0 cannot be installed!

I got informations from SWSoft Support.
Same language packs as 8 will be released, but they don't know when actually...

UPDATE:
Just got news from the people at SWSoft: the FRENCH language pack will be released next week (22nd of January 2007)!
