I just saw updates in plesk. I installed and no issues.

The install log emailed says success, but seems all the packages were already current, only saw applying patches.

What are the patches for?

There are no any new packages. Micro-update will apply just some patches, permissions, maybe something else for already existing files, binaries, etc.
